Things are always in motion in STAR Automation Europe, and this month our move east has brought us to sign a new dealership agreement with IDS Metra Robotics from Astana, Kazakhstan.

IDS Metra Robotics is a robotics and automation centre specialised in industrial robotics systems, digital logistics, positioning systems and metrology equipment, deeply focused on helping companies increase their productivity in the 4th industrial revolution. They are also closely working with state bodies, associations and industrial partners holding forums and seminars and now entering the plastic industry with a new partnership with STAR.

Kazakhstan is getting more and more independent in its raw material production by the day, with a boost in plastic products manufacturing, with involved companies increasing their capacity and shifting to a digital production. “As import of industrial robots has seen a spike in the last couple of years, we expect STAR robots to be a product which will be the driving point of our strategy with the local emerging market, especially the pharmaceutical and automotive industries,”, tells us Mr. Akylbek Iliuf, CEO of IDS Metra Robotics.
